Costco L4 SWE Salary

Hey folks, Asking for a friend. My friend recently interviewed at costco and is expecting an offer. Just want to do a little research and understand what TC can be expected for a L4 engineer at Costco, Issaquah. Also, what are other benifits? Current TC : 350K Thanks #costco #costcocompensation

If I am not mistaken Engineer gets base 10k bonus per year and now they get RSUs that vest 20% per year after awarded. And 100% in 5 years this occurs at November. Engineers get $30k in RSUs per year but vests in 5. Matching on 401k. Only up to 50% or max of $500 of $1000 per year. Company provides % of time at Costco as a 401k discretionary fund. Meaning the more time at Costco an employee is the more % of salary they give your 401K. Is it really worth it? Stay for the hotdogs and sanity of your life. Also Costco doesn’t lay off and fire people after 90 days. Rest and vest.

For your first year, $40k initial RSU grant in October that vests at 20% per year over 5 years, then $30k refresh each October that also vests at 20% per year over 5 years. Wlb can vary based on your org. Also, must be in 3x per week and lots of changes are likely to happen with new executive leadership.
