Saw in the news that some banks are looking to buyout Docusign for 13B$. Current marketcap is around 11.5B$. Does it mean that the stock value will appreciate by ~10%? Currently down by 60% on my Docusign investment and it is ~50% of my portfolio. Don’t know what does this acquisition have on my portfolio and will the banks take Docusign private? Thank you TC: 285K, lcol, 5yoe
Yes. If it goes through your position will be sold for $65ish per share.
Why is 50% of your portfolio on this random ass decaying stock. Just buy $CRWD
CRWD 400 wen
At the pace we’re growing lately give it a couple of months bro 👍
You totally fucked up. Given this rookie mistake, assume you are young, and can recover from this.
You should have put that money in your own company's stock
Yup lol! 5-6x last year. Got RSUs that need a bit more time to vest.
Short answer = No. You are better off realizing losses. Market value and enterprise value are different. Market value is stock price * total shares outstanding. When you buy a business you buy all assets and liabilities = market cap + net debt + minority shares
Bro. Wtf were you thinking. It’s ETFs from here on out for you, understand?

I don’t want H1Bs Indians taking all the jobs so I will vote for Trump.
Did you work there, or did you willingly put your entire portfolio into DocuSign?
I willingly listened to Montley Fools recommendation and put most of my money there 🥹 Thank god I didn’t put my money when the stock was in the 200’s or 300’s. Since then I gradually invested in other stocks and now Docusign sits around 45-55%.big mistake. Wishing it bounces back to the 100’s-200’s range and doesn’t look like it 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
I mean, they put "fools" right in their name... Best of luck.
