I've successfully completed two rounds of interviews with Apple, and during the phone screen, the manager expressed interest in moving forward to the onsite final interview with the team. He mentioned he would coordinate with the recruiter to schedule it. However, it's been a week, and I haven't heard back despite following up via email several times. I understand recruiters are incredibly busy, but the lack of communication is becoming frustrating. Should I be concerned about this silence? I'm quite anxious about the situation. #applecareer #apple #engineering update!! so the recruiter finally reached out to me and the final round interview has been scheduled #software #swe
Followed up by email "several" times in one week? Several being more than a couple? One followup makes sense and I understand a couple. Several? Even if the recruiter comes back from vacation a pile of mails in the inbox after only a week is not a great look. Good luck

My two cents from the current market - do not over invest in any employer. From our POV it seems like things went well but from the employer’s POV you might be one of twenty people in the pipeline. And I think Apple has been doing this a lot of late. Too many people in their pipeline. If they get back great, otherwise move on.
very typical of apple. 2 weeks of delay is the average
Carry an extra pair of adult diapers
It took about 4 weeks for me to schedule the on-site set of interviews. My HM also warned me about such a potential delay so I was a bit chilled out
Same experience for me as well, recruiter got back after 2 weeks with ‘decided to go with other candidates’ mail. Horseshit why on earth would you schedule something with others and waste time
