Sorry I have no idea on Mediatek. But I do have a question for you so I DMed you.
Job grade?
What does that mean?? I haven't been given that info
Check the offer. It should have something like E09, E10 etc
Are you on visa?
Yeah
Does mediatek attract any extra scrutiny during visa renewals and stampings? You might want to check on that aspect. Otherwise offer looks good.
Strange how most people ask a question and fuck off, no serious feedback here
This is a good offer
Decent offer.
Thanks! How is the work life balance in general??
Most of the time it’s good but sometimes it can get worse and it’s also team dependent
Reasonable offer from recently available data - try to get the base and sign on bumped up by 15k each. Unfortunately the WLB stories I've heard aren't the best but don't let that deter you - establish yourself well initially, put in the work needed (much during work hours), and if it gets too unsustainable after some time, then interview and leave. Congrats on getting an offer after having been laid off - that does take courage and determination. Good luck!
Thanks for the kind words! Really appreciate them ! God bless
Congrats on the offer! Talking to a recruiter for a position in Mediatek. What team are you joining in Mediatek?
Can you DM, I'd be happy to talk
I think mediatek have inflated titles, with 10yoe you should negotiate for senior staff imo. Just saw a similar offer for fresh PhD. Edit: Sorry about miss information, just revised the recent blind post (mediatek vs samsung) and the guy didn't mentioned his yoe, I Just assumed he is fresh phd cause i know a friend of mine got staff title right out of the phd with no industrial experience. Still think you should negotiate for senior staff
Are you HW engineer or Embedded SWE?
