UBS: What the heck?

I had an interview where I was required Skype for business, however having a Mac screen sharing does not work. I asked if we could use Teams therefore. I received a link but the day of the interview the link was not working. I send an email to every possible combination of name and surname of the interviewer to announce them. Long story short I end up interviewing with some delay and from a virtual machine with Windows. Audio was not working properly also at first, I had echo on my headset. I get asked to revert a binary tree where left elements become right. I solve the problem with recursion in under 5 minutes. Then they ask me how I would test it and I get stuck with a very stupid thing given all the issues I had to face. So I got stuck 30 mins on that. They asked some questions inclusive tail recursion. In Java no one uses tail recursion because the compiler has no optimization for that so I have never thought of how to do something tail recursive. So even though I solved the coding challenge, even with all the technical problems, I did not pass the interview. Should I reapply?
