Talking to a hiring manager on the tech side in Eaze. Have been reading a lot on it, both business-wise and employee reviews on glassdoor. Couple layoffs since 2018 and previous management sounded horrible. But since then new management came, hitting a reset button with verticalization. They are rebuilding a lot of things right now. Could be potentially a great opportunity for career growth, also not sure if it's too risky still, and if the new leadership can steer the company to profitability. Anyone who works or had worked at Eaze can comment? Or if you know someone who's worked there? Or overall outlook on the cannabis industry which seems to be in a crunch right now is welcome. #eaze #cannabisindustry #startup #tech
Nope, bad move. Weed producers are starting their own services and leaving Eaze hanging out to dry. Eg, caliva.com
Join us. It's a great time to be here. Your observation is on point - we've got lots of super smart, creative, scrappy, hungry people. Lots of potential for career growth here. Verticalization has been going extremely well for us. For partners leaving the platform, they have found that it's extremely difficult to manage a compliant delivery business - we'd already spent years figuring that part out, pre-verticalization. We're the best in the business in terms of navigating the inherent risks of operating in the cannabis space while staying safe and compliant with state regulations.
Sounds like wework.
