sad to see this as i loved the book/movie. idk who’s story to believe but something doesnt quite add up. tl;dr Retired NFL player Michael Oher, featured in "The Blind Side" movie, claims that his supposed adoption by the Tuohy family was a lie. He filed a petition alleging they tricked him into becoming a conservatee to profit off his name. Oher asserts they earned millions from royalties while he received nothing. He seeks an end to the conservatorship, financial compensation, and an injunction against using his name. The Tuohys deny these allegations, planning a legal response. Oher's relationship with the family soured after feeling misrepresented by the film and realizing he wasn't adopted. #misc https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/38190720/blind-side-subject-michael-oher-alleges-adoption-was-lie-family-took-all-film-proceeds?platform=amp
I would believe Michael. Unfortunately he sold the rights to his life story to 20th Century Fox, so it’ll be interesting to see what happens.

Racism towards Indians
If you follow the movie. They more or less made oher a dumbass. If you follow Oher in real life he’s a normal human being. So I’d say dramatized and probably more so for the benefit of the family than Oher.
