Hey Blind! I have an offer from BlackRock, however I would like to know if it’s a safe bet considering the upcoming recession. New TC~ 165K YOE 3 #recession
Not sure why ppl are saying no. Blackrock is one of the safest financial companies.
Because some people just think finance and banks are inferior
Company safe != safe to join company Microsoft was one of the safest companies but it was never safe to join during the Ballmer Era due to all the layoffs Banks and financial institutions also love to fire people which makes sense since they're finance and want to improve those next quarter numbers
Blackrock is a government proxy. Safest companies out there. They earn a ton of fee income from all consulting governments of the world along with fee income from their funds. Are they bloated? Probably .. but I don’t see any existential risk like some companies out there
Blackrock is very safe to work at. Probably one of the most safe companies to work at during a recession
Blackrock is one of the safest financial investment companies in the industry. No company is 100% recession proof but it has $10 trillion in assets under management.
Idk which segment of oracle you are at but pretty sure oracle will layoff before blackrock
Blackrock is safe as long as there is a US government lol
Yeah. Blackrock is pretty safe for sure.
No
Why?
You know BlackRock was the one who got US govt out of recession in 2009 one right? So I would like to have some insight into the extensive research you have done to arrive at this conclusion.
