Of course it is slowing. People are going out again and shopping in stores. During Covid people were ordering toothpaste and toilet paper and everything else they needed from Amazon etc and having it delivered so they didn’t need to go out. Not a surprise at all.
Nahh people are likely reducing their spending overall since many are holding onto their disposable income with an iron fist.
Not in my house. Definitely going to stores way more and ordering way less online. Missed shopping in person. My Target store is packed all the time now. Up until a few months ago it was empty. Now the line for the Starbucks is halfway out the door on the weekends.
So they negotiated 160k salaries for delivery drivers and then laid off enough to not be that expensive.
