Trying to get a general feel for the firms reputation...has anyone worked with FTI Consulting before? If so, what industry and what did you think of the professionals you worked with?
Strong reputation in market for RX. Titles are overinflated and everyone knows that.
Worked in their tax REIT practice in NYC/NJ. Benefits and pay we're above avg at my level but work/life was horrible. I put in big4 hours without the name Imo. In terms of work I really to got my hands in everything which gave me great exposure. Some ppl still think old school in terms of need to have YOE to move up rather than just looking at your skill set which is why I made the switch out of there. Don't know what parts your looking for but that was my experience. Hope this helps
How does the pay compare to the big 4? What level?

Restructuring powerhouse. I would rather work in restructuring banking like HL for the deals and better pay
Great perspective, thank you. I thought FTI comp was fairly good...no?
For the finance industry, and especially financial consulting, yes. Compared to HL and PJT though which pay above street, no
