I am planning to dip my toes into coding and exploring the UW Coding Bootcamp as an option. Bellevue, WA location. It’s an expensive program so I want to make sure it’s worth it. Any thoughts? Also, any other promising alternatives? Non-Tech Background TC: 220K
If u have time, I would say try CodeSmith
With that TC, why are you switching careers, out of curiosity? If not switching careers, why the interest in coding?
Not switching careers but I do feel fomo in engineering and design reviews.
I agree with Bloomberg. Coders take years to reach $200k+. If you're already there, why would you want to start over? If you're just interested in exploring coding there are tons of free/cheap resources out there.
Fair points. Any recommendations?

Trilogy Education Services runs the program. Trilogy has a lot of complaints against it for being underhanded and overpriced. They have agreements with a number of universities to use their brand names to seem legit. In exchange the university gets a piece of the action.
