So interviewed with 7 people for 3 hours in SF. Felt very mechanical and hard to tell how it went. I would probably say 8/10. Not sure if that’s hirable grade or not? Recruiter said something strange when walking out that “we will huddle together and have some type of response in a week, although we are still early in the process”. Why would you invite a candidate for a final Onsite interview and say that. Just don’t say anything if it’s negative feedback, which is hard to believe that any kind of feedback was available right away. Would love to hear from people who have interviews at Uber. How quick is Uber in getting back tot he candidates, positive or negative?
To be honest, Uber on-site experience is the worst in big techs.
For up to L5, recruiters have no visibility into how your interviews went until people submit feedback which usually happens a day before debrief.
Mine was negative- messed up design, aced all algos 1 week was recruiters turn around time
How do you interview with 7 people in 3 hours? What kind of interviews did you get and do you know what position/level you were interviewing for?
It was 30 min per person with 5 and 15 min each with the greeter in the beginning and 15 min at the end with the recruiter. It was a finance role and I knew what position and level I was interviewing for. Most people talked technical “not the hiring manager” which was very strange as in finance, most if not all final onsite interviews are not trying to find out how much technical knowledge does the candidate have. All are done prior to final interview, either on the phone or an onsite.
Oh non-tech, OK I have no idea
Any advice for Uber PM onsite interview?
Sometimes they will hold if they have other onsites. Common for senior roles
