Recruiter had an initial call and then sent out a mail stating HM/HMs passed over resume, is this normal ? I might be wrong but this seems a little inverted , is this normal ...
Cool, I thought the recruiter talks to managers and then selects potential ones , any who does not matter , was just curious if this is how it works ..
Recruiter is usually the first screen then go to hiring manager. If that passes then you get to phone screen
In other news, grass is green
This happened to me at Citadel but hasn't happened anywhere else. Companies with generic recruitment will move you to tech screen, and in my experience at tech companies with team-specific hiring, the recruiters have always been aligned with the hiring managers and will at least get you to that point. E: Uber also seems to be weird bc I got a referral and no response for a month but then next day response when I submitted my resume online.
Yeh a first for me as well
Of course that happens all the time. Whats new there? You dont do that at Amazon and invite all candidates whose resume hiring manager ever ever got? Lol
