The RSU price is calculated as the VWAP price of the month you join. This is more important than negotiating the sign-up bonus.
That’s true, but one thing I can influence and the other I can’t.
Isn’t sign on taxed to hell anyways?
Withholding may be different, but when filing taxes it’s the same as any other W2 income. Why accept less than what I can get?
Can you share interview experience please? Did you get two design rounds? If yes, were they both similar. I recently gave l5a interview but recruiter didn't realize I should be at l5b so now they are asking for a second design round. I'm wondering how is this second round going to be any different the first one?
I had 2 design rounds, same structure just different questions. Also had 2 LC style, and 2 behavioral interviews.

High end of in band base/bonus. ~1.4M equity with 35/30/20/15 vesting. Don’t want to give specific numbers as I don’t want to doxx myself.
