@Google, not yet, but we believe it will be happening soon. But some departments, yes, for e.g. finance and legal already have the requirement of 3 days per week in the office.

As MSFT is offering 67 (aka partner bench) you have a good chance at being promoted to partner. Otherwise principals are stuck at 66 if they don't have the potential. I will choose Microsoft due to this factor.
