Saw some pretty low salary for the role esp for a bay area position. Does anyone know what's the hierarchy and salary by each level?
it’s low. ops come to uber for the work/impact and experience not to make $$ and for the most part you can only come in at one level and be promoted, unless you come in as general manager
Don't bother
What's the hierarchy: ops and logistics manager, regional ops manager, ops lead, general manager?
Associate, manager, senior manager, end.
What's the offer range you are seeing
$80-100k base for manager, is that a normal range
Probably $80k for Ops Manager and $100k for Snr ops manager
Thx guys, any idea on stock/bonus for manager. At this range I can't understand why wd anyone join coz most PPL I know will take a huge paycut to join at that number in bay area
I already told you, people in Ops do NOT join uber for money. they join for the experience, the work and impact. they can go somewhere else and make money at any point in their career in consulting or a large corporation. if money is the most important thing to you I do not suggest considering Uber for an ops role, just being honest
Thx midpoint. Actually money is not my motivation but this is the first time I am face with ~50% pay cut discussion which might have a lifestyle impact, this wondering if the equity is meaningful to bridge the gap.. any comments on. RSU range
2-3k rsu
