If I was you I would reinterview with the current bar and being the questions asked during the interview the same for the last 4 years you can up level easily

Roles that are still open on Careers site should be still be hiring. There are new people still being announced - though fewer than earlier in the year. Been told by my L7 leader that our org is flat next year. No net new headcount.
