Uber devs
Can someone tell me the reason I get so many Teslas as my Uber? Is there an increase in teslas or is it promotion based? I did puke in a Tesla the day I went platinum back when you had the rewards program. Iโm not complaining, just curious the reason Tc: 250k
There was a deal to get a large bonus if you complete a certain number if trips as a Tesla driver. Lots of people bought Tesla M3s to take advantage of the deal. The deal counted number of trips taken, so people targetted urban areas with short trips for this program.
Hertz has a deal with Tesla to rent them out.
Tesla is the status symbol. People who canโt afford still buy and the have to drive it as an Uber to keep up with life expenses.
Tesla gives higher Uber pay for business comfort and I think 1 class over X. Combine with cheaper gas and good safety. Seems like a simple choice.

Okay all of these responses make sense. Itโs interesting though bc Iโve ridden in so many types and the Model 3 BLOWS. That was the one I considered when I wanted a Tesla. Tesla is no longer in the list but the other versions are nicer.
