~00mins - Ordered food and very hungry ~70mins - delivery driver calls and asks me to cancel the order. I check that cancellation will charge me if I cancel now and refuse and asks to get the right order and I’ll wait. Superrr hungry! ~80mins - check the order and realize it was already cancelled by the driver. Hyper hungry! ~90mins - call the customer care in rage. Asking about incident. They are like, lucky you, we are not gonna charge you for this transaction. I ask, Are you not gonna take accountability for this incident? They are like we know what you mean 😉 it was the driver who’s at fault so we can’t do anything. ~120 mins - Now I feel cheap for sounding like I just want free food, embarrassed, angry and HungryXHungry. Going to collect the same food from the restaurant in person! Will pay the Uber commission as tip. Sayonara Uber eats! Cheap customer like me adds no value to you.
