Employement 101, you cannot but derivatives in your own company.
Any restrictions on ex-employees with pre-IPO shares?
It depends on the company. Microsoft never had any restrictions. I made a steady monthly profit selling out of the water calls when the stock was going nowhere. It went on for four or five years.
Does not make sense. If you given Microsoft shares and work there no one can stop you from buying put options on robinhood, etc.
No one will stop you, but that doesn’t mean it’s not illegal. I don’t know if it is or isn’t, just pointing out the silliness of your statement.
More your own rudeness and incompetence.
Don’t worry Uber employees, I’ll buy all the puts in your honor!
Thanks! Let us know how much money you make!
Will do!
Can’t buy puts on our own stock
Part of the employment contract?
Like you cant go out and buy a put contract for Uber stock at all?
