I had 6 interviews during an on-site session for engineering manager position at uber. Should all of the interviewers feedback be hire or strong hire to get selected. How does the distribution typically look like? Is it ok to have one maybe or one weak nohire? Thanks
U can bomb 1-2 sessions as long as you didn’t say something red flagged
Thanks for the response. Is this true across the company, or is it based on your anecdotal experience
I wouldn’t say “bomb” but we definitely don’t require unanimous thumbs up as a protocol. It’s usually a discussion as to why the thumbs down occurred and if that person would feel comfortable with an offer given what they have heard from all the thumbs up people. Usually one double thumbs down means no offer though.
One “no hire” is survivable and even expected given the role. Anything more makes it much harder.
If you had a behavioral red flag, it is hard to recover. Especially nowadays.

I saw a Googler ( Male ) hit a lady multiple times in the cafe, should I report?
Can you describe what were the interviews like? Do they have coding rounds or only design for EMs? How many behavior rounds you had?
+1 How were the interviews like? Coding - leetcode easy, medium or hard?
You should ask your recruiter. In my case during on-site, mostly design and some pseudo code
