Good thing I declined that security engineer role a couple years ago. This would bring great shame to me
You think intelligence comes only with age? 18 yrs is way too less for you?
Most of Lulzsec was pretty young. You can definitely be young and do some damage
Bruh and Uber employees wanna be included in the FAANG acronym LMAOOO
My aws account got hacked twice (before mfa). You shouldn’t be talking
bruh since when did Amazon employees start getting cocky smh
That kid is an attacker not a hacker. He didn’t use any sophisticated tools/software. Just used social engineering. No tools can mitigate social engineering. It’s people who need to learn how to protect their creds/privileged access. Also, as I read online about this issue, hard coding admin credentials in a script in plain text?!! That practice should be discussed.
And getting those admin credentials makes him a hacker. Every hacker takes advantage of bad security practices to compromise systems. If there was no security fault in the system then it would never be compromised.
Yes social engineering is a subset of hacking
