Senior advisor to the European Commission has made a non binding suggestion to regulate Uber as a taxi service and not a technology platform. The main issue is that the current valuation is very old. You have to price in exiting China with a stake at didi, autonomous growth and waymo's lawsuit, ubereats which is now a big business, Latin America that was very small summer 2015. Europe - with Germany basically off limits, was never a big part of the story. Especially back then there was also no Spain and no Russia.
