Uber layoff and Grubhub Acquisition
How come Uber has money to buy Grubhub but can’t keep their own ppl and their own house in tact. Of course there will be a lot fundamental details I might be missing, but how about keeping their own family safe and free of concern first and then going after acquisitions. very sorry to hear the news about another round of uber layoffs. It's pretty simple really, Uber thinks they'll get more benefit by acquiring Grubhub than keeping those 6700 employees.
I always laughed to those , who think companies treat you like family, its bullshit, you are getting paid what you deliver.
It's a stock deal. Uber doesn't have to pay a penny
Where is stock from? If grub stock holder get the stock and sell on market, who will bolster Uber stock price?
