What happens when most of your team is Indian?
I just got a warning today from uber saying "All riders and drivers are required to wear a face cover or a mask when using Uber. This is to help protect everyone's health and safety. We recently received a report from a driver that you were not wearing a face cover or mask over your mouth and nose during a recent trip. We take the safety and hygiene of our users seriously, and you’ll need to verify that you are wearing a mask before you can request your next trip by taking a photo of yourself wearing a face mask. We may also remove your access to Uber if you continue to not comply with our policies. " but I'm confused because: 1) it says here masks are no longer required since April 2022 https://www.uber.com/en-US/blog/changes-to-mask-requirements-and-covid-19-policies/ 2) I have only used Uber 10 times this year and all within the past 2 weeks and not a single one of my drivers was wearing a mask. So wtf?
I think Lyft also said no masks were required for a bit and then they rolled back on that statement, not sure if Uber was in the same boat
I don't think so. in the email, it linked me to a "learn more" page about their corovirus policies and the page was https://www.uber.com/us/en/coronavirus/#tips and the top it says "Masks are no longer required As of April 19, 2022, riders and drivers are not required to wear masks when using Uber." lol i don't get it. anyways, feel like the driver should've just told me to mask up (would have seemed like a double standard since none of them wore masks but whatever) or cancelled the ride (there's an option to cancel if the rider isn't wearing a mask and the driver is uncomfortable with that) instead of reporting me
Use Lyft. Problem solved
Just wear a mask around strangers. They might accidentally kiss you and give you monkeypox
It's called a monopoly. Look it up
