Uber offer.. what you do
Received an offer to join Uber @ L5, but wondering whether or not it would be wise to take the chance given that stock is back up and hopefully riders are returning.. My main concern is riders not returning and eats having lot of competition = buyers remorse Any advice will be helpful..

My main concern is state of ride business not returning back to where it was and then company doing cost cutting instead of riding on up,up,up stock price :-)
Reject it.
Uber is a terrible place to work. Incompetent leadership and backstabbing culture. You may regret joining unless you thrive in that kind of environment.

What's your offer and location?
What's your current level? And TC bump? Concern is the future for them doesn't feel exponentially better. Once covid ends it'll improve but can it ever reach 3x? Probably not.

Why?
Don’t listen to Blind advice, it will be biased towards negativity. I have been here long enough to say if you like the offer join, huge upside. Regarding cultural issues, find out more about your org. It is very different for my Org than rest of the Uber even at the peak of 2017 issues (all google leadership)
Will ride business come back? That's my main concern. What do we see in countries with no lock down.. without that it would be just a food delivery company with stiff competition
Are we working for the same company?? What upside do you see?
If the TC is higher then take it. If the company tanks there will likely be severance and then you find another gig. Yolo
