I had an on-site interview with Uber last Wednesday. The interview went really well. I emailed the recruiter immediately after the interview with a thank you note but the it turned out that the recruiter was out of office till next Tuesday. On Tuesday I wrote back to the recruiter again to check regarding any updates since it was almost a week since interview, but she immediately responded back saying she doesn't have any updates yet. It's Thursday today and a little more than a week since the interview. How long does it take usually to hear back ? Do I still have any chance of getting an offer ? Should I reach out to recruiter again sometime soon ?
I’ve personally taken up to two weeks to go through candidates before making a decision. The amount of updates is largely dependent on the recruiters workload and personality. Just follow up once a week should be fine.

It’s a dental lab. Lol we make crowns, dental prosthetics. No joke, a lot of potential for good IT work.

Be patient - with two emails already they know you’re waiting on a response and any more would likely just be seen as an irritation.
