Uber is in talk to sell ATG to Aurora. Can anyone confirm? What does this implicate? I thought prop 22 was gonna bring the company some upsides. https://techcrunch.com/2020/11/13/uber-in-talks-to-sell-atg-self-driving-unit-to-aurora/amp/
Atg is the only few AV company gives public stock , right? (How about lyft)So . This just make ATg the same as other AV company.
I am in the process of interviewing with UBER ATG in Pittsburgh. I feel very concerned looking at what/how UBER is doing recently. Does not look like they found a sustainable business model after being hit very hard by the pandemic. ATG is supposed to be the research arm that was always going to be capex heavy until there is a commercial product out there. But these knee jerk selling strategies are putting me off.
U should avoid atg now
Knowingly selling a bag load of shite. Good job
Recently read an article about how ATG’s cars can’t even do basic shit like drive two miles without the operator having to intervene. Not surprised they’re looking to sell.
What would happen to their Uber RSUs?
Vested RSUs are theirs. Otherwise becomes Aurora Equity which is worth 💩 until IPO.
Ew. That sucks.
