Uber vs cash app L4
I have written offer for cash app and onsite next week for Uber. If I care about WLB more than TC, is it worth to interview at Uber? Used other offer to negotiate cash app offer to 270k TC tax: 160k 2 YOE
Uber L4 can go >300k
I would interview anyway, but Uber is a shit show right now.
Why do u say that
The company is full of stock watchers, so with the most recent dip, everyone is shopping around for new gigs to reset their vesting price back to a reasonable number. The majority of people who work at Uber got grants at $35-45, so anything the stock dips below 30 our attrition goes through the roof and our engineering channels get just a little bit more quiet.
I'm actually in a similar boat. I have a verbal offer from Uber (SDE II) and interviewing for Cash App soon. I think I will enjoy Cash's culture and work more but Uber really does pay a lot more than Cash it seems. Could I DM you about your onsite experience?
Sure. I ended up cancelling Uber onsite. The recent statement from the CEO was a red flag for me.
