Some British cricket fans are devastated to learn that countries can have distinct VISA requirements, and simply possessing a British passport doesn't guarantee unrestricted entry anywhere. Shoaib Bashir is a British cricketer of Pakistani origin, and he requires additional documents for the processing of an Indian VISA, which he didn't provide. So, his entry to India is denied. India has strict VISA requirements for anyone with Pakistani ancestry since David Headley, an American with Pakistani origin, orchestrated 26/11 here. Britons are acting surprised and crying foul, as if they didn't know about this process. Rehan Ahmed, the other player in the English Test squad with Pakistani heritage, has already been granted a VISA because he did the necessary paperwork. In 2019, Saqib Mahmood was ruled out of an England Lions tour to India, while Moeen Ali arrived late at the 2022 IPL season because both delayed their paperwork. They know that people of Pakistani origin need additional paperwork to enter India but default every time and then cry victim or behave racist.
What? Doctors and cricket?
Adelie penguins spend the winter in the seas surrounding the Antarctic and the rest of the year on the many small coastal islands. Adelie penguins are much easier to spot from spring to autumn - during winter, they spend most of their time in the water along the coast. These penguins mostly eat small sea creatures like krill, but have been known to hunt little fish and the occasional squid, as well. Male and female Adelie penguins are almost impossible to tell apart, and their lifestyle offers few clues - they're particularly egalitarian, with both parents taking an equal share of the childcare. These cute creatures are actually amazing divers, and have been known to plunge as deep as 575 feet in search of food. That's not even the extent of it - in fact, Adélies may travel 185 miles round-trip to find a meal.
