This seems so unreal. One of the biggest shining stars of our times seeing the light of the day. Many of you will mention - ya dude it all started when iOS update happened, well to those I can say it’s was not. I will put in my research hat. The last time Meta had a good quarter was back in Q1, 2021 ( April ) after which Meta started to blame Apple for privacy update but … IOS release came in on April 2021 but Meta actually beat expectations the following quarter. It even hit the pinnacle on August 1st, 2021 blowing away any privacy concerns from iOS update. 2 months later On October 4, 2021, Facebook services went off the grid gradually, and then suddenly at 15:39 UTC. It took nearly six hours to restore service to normal. With over 3.5 billion users facing a lengthy downtime using one or multiple products from Facebook, Inc. Facebook was already losing a bunch of users already to TikTok. It’s not the privacy changes that affected Meta, it’s their aging products Feb 2nd, 2022 is the date when that shit hits the fan. Meta cannot hide behind the pretext of Apple privacy changes to be the cornerstone of their failures.

I don’t think OP is “mocking employees” he is just stating the chain of events and how and when the downfall happened. There are way worse posts than this. And yeah at this point I feel bad for the Meta employees too
Social media ads revenue? WhatApp monetization? All BS. Seriously when was the last time you actually click to buy something on FB/IG?
😆 I have never bought anything by clicking on a sponsored ads by Google either. Advertising is a very low ctr game. Will always remain that way.
Left Meta and sold stock in April 2021. Not surprised they are not doing well after I left
