I pulled cash out a year and go and stuck a bunch in my closet and used the rest to buy gold. The rest is in crypto. Feels good man That’s not to even mention the months of food I have in the basement.
It depends what happens with SVB.. if the uninsured money isn’t made whole, then there’s going to be a run on a lot of these other regional banks. I’m sure that’s what they’re working on this weekend to prevent. Most of these idiots waiting in line probably don’t even have $1k in the bank. They’re not the ones who need to worry about pulling their peanuts.

They probably will lose some. Sounds like auction is happening this afternoon and a sale will be finalized this evening. Will be interesting to see what the outcome is.
First Republic is not SVB. They don’t have the same liquidity issues. They are not over indexed to tech like SVB. They are not trying and failing to do a capital raise. It is like saying Fitbit went out of business, is Rolex next. They both make watches but their company and customer base is not the same. As for the video, try harder with where you get your news.
How do you know it don’t have liquidity issues? Are you an accountant of First Republic? They also said SVB is the best bank to invest in three days before its shutdown.
