Interviewing for Okta, sales position. Any feedback on company overall and if sales people are well compensated?
Sales reps are not making their quotas. Google quotas are insanely high
Heard last year before they IPOed that Okta’s sales team was among the best of all A16Z portfolio companies. Dunno if still true a year later. Overall though, the company is killing it. Super hot right now. Underrated.
Sales is the best part of Okta. You will learn some amazing things from Sales leaders here. Okta is Okta because of its Sales.
My advice is ask what your territory is and how its performed in the past. Many sales teams have tripled in size since last year but have no new turf to go around. Lot of people gonna miss target badly this FY
Are you in sales at google now? A partner is always going to be a step down unless you are in a bad light with your manager
