How does levels work at UiPath? What should I set my expectations as a 64 at MSFT. The recruiter said their leveling is same as Microsoft but I don’t buy it. Edit: This post wasn’t meant to dis anyone. I am being very skeptical given that levels. fyi has limited info. TC 280k YOE 9
As 64 at Microsoft, you can try for principal but you gotta clear those interviews. UiPath will beat that TC easily.
How are the interviews? Where’s focus at? LC style or system design?
Think Medium-Hard at that level. Mix of both.
FB e6 and smart e5 come as principals. L64 might get principal but will not be easy. Pay will beat or meet FB e6 which is way more L65
Dang. That’s pretty high then. But what %age is in cash? Of course if the base is good and all my bills and investments get covered in that, there is no need of extra money from stocks. (Thats the case in MSFT as well)
So UiPath principal is same as Amazon principal (L7 IC)? Are you guys sure about that?
Btw, I didn’t expect so many ex-G/F folks at UiPath. Seems like I might have been mistaken about the hiring bar/talent
I know two senior engineers (not sure they’re 63 or 64) got principal level at Uipath. So you’re good.
Dh, did you move to UiPath?
What's their offer like?
No interview yet. Don’t want to engage if their levels are same as MSFT. I would want one level higher along with increased TC (monopoly money) to leave MSFT for UiPath.
Sounds about right. Monopoly money be the best 🙌
