I feel extremely under appreciated at work and my bosses do not care to even look at the hard work that I am doing and only appreciating "Yes Men", who do not question and agree to everything they say. I was not even informed that they are interviewing for a manager and have hired him. What can I do other than leaving?
Talk about your hard work. They won’t know how hard you’re working until you tell them about the impact you’re making.

Have you expressed your interest in a management role? What behaviors of theirs have led you to believe they don't care about your work?
Work less hard. Talk more that you work hard.
Become a yes-man and play the game. Take on some extra shit that no one wants to do. Express interest, the squeaky wheel gets the grease. Ask for a mock interview, what else you can do to prepare for the role, network, get to know the new manager, etc. Above all else, perform above average. Let your results do most of the talking. In fact, perform first, sustain it, then talk about management roles
Have you tried talking to people you closely collaborate with regularly and see what they think?
