What’s the comparable FAANG salary and role titles for entry-level strategy & ops roles out of undergrad? I’m making 70K base + 7K bonus, 15K RSU/4 years. Am I underpaid?
Wow that is really low
Depends. These roles can sit under Ops, in which case this is the right pay. But there are teams like this sitting under Product, and pay is very close to product. Obviously hiring bar is completely different. Some have ex-PMs + McKinsey, others have random profiles from salesops.
These teams under product don’t hire people with less than 5-7 years of experience. Ex McKinsey and MBA from Stanford or equivalent a must
Good info, thanks! Most of the people in my org are random backgrounds, 1-2 years out of smaller consulting firms. Any suggestions on good next steps/exit options? Goal is eventually to move higher up into corporate dev/strategy
Just got an offer for Product Ops Analyst, fresh out of college (2 YOE internships) and my base is $95k with $10k signing in NYC Office with typical silicon valley perks. I think you're underpaid for the location you're at
This is an unusually high offer fromProdOps
Sorry I didn't mention that this offer isn't from FAANG, it's from a lower tiered tech company
Agreed, the offer sounds very high. IC3 offers are ~90K when I looked on the internal page
Are sign-on bonuses common for IC3 levels? I wasn't offered any, but it sounded like I'd need competing offers to get one.
