Hello! I have applied to some positions at GitHub, but have not heard anything from them. Then this morning I get an email from what APPEARS to be the GitHub application system requesting to sign an NDA before an upcoming interview. My first thought is of course "It's a trap!" since there have been scams like this going around. However, the system links and name of the recruiter see to align with GitHub's application system URL and the name of an actual recruiter. I have reached out to the recruiter on LinkedIn and emailed GitHub's to verify. However, any guidance from someone at #github would be beneficial. Would it be anyway normal to receive this NDA request before getting any other information? Thanks
I received and signed an NDA before my interview at GitHub. It’s normal.
