…we’ve been hiring AGGRESSIVELY for the entire 2.25 years since I joined RallyHealth, now Optum Digital (part of UnitedHealth Group). Also, my equity has nearly tripled in that same time: $UNH grant at ~$325 (half RSUs, half options); few weeks ago $UNH topped $550. Comp: Sr UI SWE, 7yoe, $165K salary + $20K bonus + $5K signing + $60K equity, now worth ~$160K, ~5% COL raise, standard benefits, etc. TC: ~245K annual amortized over 1st 4 years #tech #healthcare #hiring

That equity is low, even after the stock rise
Optum/UNH are both very much traditional healthcare companies, so their salaries are not typical CA-tech salaries. This is slightly above average based on peers I’ve talked to.
