So, what do folks think of Unity? What it's like to work there?
Very helpful review. Can you comment on the interview process?
I think this is true for a lot of unity but the operate org overall has more good middle management than bad. The senior managers and above I don’t have a lot of exposure to but I can see how their culture could be different

Please Help :: Should I pursue CS Masters in USA or remain in India to join Startups?
A lot of people have been here for a while and seem happy which is reassuring. My interactions with everyone from the SF, Helsinki, Seattle, and Montreal office have been very pleasant, all are professional and knowledgeable. Leadership puts out good vibes and always has some kind of goodie bag being shipped out, wellness event, online team building or training available. They have been spotlighting a lot of charity drives and donate a set chunk of revenue each year to causes employees can vote on. Before covid they would do all expenses paid hack weeks in Copenhagen and team off sites Process is pretty agile, never had to wait on anything from IT, HR or procurement. Downsides are a bit of disorganization at the director / vp level as we go through frequent reorgs so you’ll see whole products being dropped or teams moved. It can lead to feeling like products are asleep at the wheel. Compensation used to be weak but after IPO its competitive with faang, and the refreshers have been good (got 1/4 my initial grant worth in refreshers my first year but I got a really good review) so hopefully it stays that way. Overall I’m happy but its hard to say what the game / ar / vr market will be like in the next 10 years so anything can happen.
Thanks so much! I appreciate the details.
Np what team and office are you targeting? Role?
