To keep doing well, you need to have revenue growth. Amazon has started an Ads business that will mostly affect Google's business. Apple wants to add an Ads business and also invests in an Apple car. Microsoft invests in every possible direction to increase revenue. Meta is trying to find new revenue streams. What is Google doing? YouTube cannot monetize further. Search cannot monetize further and will be hit hard by Amazon. Google cloud failed. I don't see an effort by Google to diversify revenue. And let me tell you that I am huge Google fan. I love the products, Google has some amazing engineers but why don't they try to create a better business model?
Lol
Google is eating MSFT launch for the cloud, Azure is generally crap. Amazon Ads are probably in trouble after cuts in Alexa. Meta is generally dying out with boomers.
I agree. Google is slowing down like the other FAANG. Also, the bar has become lower. FAANG is going to be the next Yahoo/IBM in this decade.
I love that OP mentioned “Meta is finding new revenue streams” while saying all of Google new initiatives are failures.
New streams == meta verse ok 👌🏻
IS TRYING to find. Together with your business model, please improve your reading skills.
They still have Google map, Google Brain, Google drive, and gmail. Google is still the big boss
Monetize ..
I’ll pay for those, it’s just Google is too benign to charge money for those
I see it the other way Amazon will eat into some of Google's ad business. Google is eating into some of Amazon's cloud business. Its a dog eat dog world.
Google cloud loses almost $1B per fiscal quarter.
Google has Boston dynamics, waymo and moonshot
They’ll be fine, they have their Google Glasses
Yeah, it’s as good as fb phone
What about your own company..who replies mostly on ads..
Curious to see how you think Google Cloud has already “failed”
There’s AWS, Azure …………then……GCP, then Oracle.
Probably the 600m operating loss. Not a failure, but still a long way to go to make any money
