Hi all. I have my first interview with the T-Mobile recruiter next week. I was wondering if anyone has advice. This would be for a PM role. I don't have enough experience as a PM but I do have tons of experience in the vertical this role would be specifically supporting. Thanks!
Please feel free to DM me. Happy to provide feedback. Remember HR is the gatekeeper. You will need to get past this first interview to get to the hiring manager.
Had my first conversation with recruiter, she said she’ll arrange my meeting with the HM and asked me to provide availability for the reminder of the week and……. disappeared 😮💨 She didn’t even bother to reply my email when I sent a follow up So unprofessional
Sounds like T-Mobile
The screening recruiter will have spoken to the hiring manager and will have either taken great notes or none at all. No in between. They likely won't know much about the actual work but have some ideas what the hiring manager is looking for. Literally no way to predict that part so my advice is to talk to them like they are also a PM and let them either connect the dots or settle for you knowing your ish well enough to pass you forward.
Do you have experience with phone screens? That's all this will be. Make your experience align with what's in the job description and they'll happily pass your resume forward. Then the HM will decide if you get an actual interview based on the call notes and your resume.
What’s the req ID?
