I’m pretty sure I’m off by a few months, but I didn’t have any gaps between those jobs… anyone know how strict background check policies usually are in FAANG companies? Like will my offer get pulled if I’m off by like 1-3 months on a start/end date from a job in like 2018/2019?
This doesn’t answer your question but gets at how to find the dates. Do you have the offer letters in your email? Those generally contain start dates. Or check bank deposits; with auto deposit you should be able to see a change in source. Maybe you have things like interview dates in a personal calendar that let you get close, assuming you have an idea about how long it took to get the offer and start the new position.
I tried that - my personal email was compromised a couple of years ago so I ended up just deleting it and making a new one haha… I also have nooooo f-ing recollection of which systems each company used to get my W-2 info, etc. And I decided that filing paper tax returns was a good idea until like 2022 and can’t find my old tax returns (which is problematic for other reasons, I know)
Who cares! Just guess no one gives a shit They only care if you actually worked there
Just put the years.
Off by a couple months is no big deal, off by a few years would be a problem.

Start and end date with the company is what shows up. If you are off, you’d need to explain to the recruiter that’s all
