I am trying to seriously upskill in ML and AI. Unfortunately, I don’t work in an environment that has ML people. I’m working through the Coursera Andrew Ng courses and considering Uplimit. Has anyone tried it. What’s your opinion on it? https://uplimit.com/ TC: 220
They seem to be working on publishing a free course with Open AI folks. May be useful to understand how the platform works. Just sharing here if anyone is on the same path. https://twitter.com/uplimit_/status/1674131900628172800
Too late to be learning ML now. Instead continue to be an expert in your area to complement ML.
Why do you say so? Every large enterprise is still going through a digital transformation. There has to be an AI transformation coming.
Swe focused on ML infra may be the easiest transition
I have done those Andrew NG courses too and currently doing Tensorflow path. But it's hard to get into AI/ML, if you don't have prior experience. Keep your LinkedIn profile updated with AI/ML details. Also you can practice ML on Kaggle. Other than that just wait for the opportunity.
