Hello, For the portions of my interview that are just looking for an optimal solution, im going to use go, as that is my preferred language. However if they ask me OOP related questions, go won't work because it isn't OO. I know Javascript well, python ok, and barely any Java. Which is the best choice for the interview? #engineering #software #swe #amazon
Go is the best language so far IMO.
Do they ask OOP questions in interview? Seems weird to me, why specify paradigm rather than just talk about code design.
Amazon is 90%+ POJO. Good luck!
I thought amazon didn't care what language you interviewed with, so long as you showed potential to learn.
I meant Amazon internal codebase.
How do you do something like shortest oath which needs a priority queue in Go? Do you code it up right there?
Go has a heap data type / interface in the std lib
Yeah, but to use that you have to implement 3 functions on your data structure. Can’t use it out of the box.

What OO questions can they ask you? Can you exemplify? You can easily say Go doesn’t support doing abc because it’s not OO
