I am considering to buy a 2 year old Tesla Model S from the official Tesla Website. Does anyone have experience with that?
Check out the r/TeslaMotors subreddit. Tons of information on this topic.
Go on forums like teslamotorsclub and ask / research
No don’t, Tesla’s build quality issues have only been kind of resolved recently. Not worth imo, and model S has outdated hardware vs 3. I would get a new 3 or Y. Not used S
I have an almost 3 year old Model S. If you are going to buy a used one do it from Tesla. Would you considered a new Model 3?
I was going to buy a model 3 but after driving it was a bit too small for me. Decided on a 2018 model S and am very happy with it. I do wish it had the tech the model 3 does but the more spacious interior was more important to me.
Used model s. The 3 is too small and ugly.
I bought one, Tesla website was a bit higher than buying in the market. Considering that Tesla dont have mechanical issues like European Cards, I bought it directly from a person, turned out well, no complaints
Definitely test drive if you are deciding 3 vs S, I did and chose S
Top reason why picked the over the 3?
Space and overall UI
Don’t buy model S 2016 year or lower .. they had lot of issues
Alright so anything after 2016 should be okay? Or do they have major issues too. I am looking into a 2017 model
Hmmm.. This I was told by a Tesla rep...will be honest I don’t remember about 2016 or after .. I ended up buying MY
Shouldn’t be a problem!
Is it smart to buy a used one with up to 50k mileage or do I have to worry about maintenance already at that stage? Rather spend 5k more for one with less mileage?
Less mileage is always good. Check Reddit good inputs from people who bought a used S from Tesla
