Contemplating joining them even before corona. but now, is it the right move? looking to move out of amazon ASAP
Stay put man, many of their competitors had layoffs already, you'd be naïve to think they're not planning to do the same.
They are also a shitty company anyway.
Yeah. For customers. But employee culture seems good
Do they really pay and treat employees well?
Just go to that JaRule concert and call it a day
Hiring freeze. I would be surprised if you got hired. Company is finding ways to reduce cost and not lay-off employees. And yes the company employee culture is much different than public image, in a positive way In case you haven’t read in the news, the CEO let go full year’s salary and SLT are taking pay cuts. That says a lot about the leadership. Given that, it is still a difficult time. The longer this goes on, the more difficult it will be. No doubt about it. But if we were let, go we would leave knowing the leadership tried their best and employees didn’t get dropped like the other competitor’s employees in a heartbeat.
Hopefully you didn’t join because furloughs announced today
Unless you are in PIP situation and visa issues, I wouldn't recommend joining Ticketmaster. If not now, they will in coming months.
