Hi fellow blinders,
I'm planning on interviewing at Bloomberg for a req in the Connectivity Engineering Infrastructure team. Does anybody know this team? What is the work like (The ground reality)? Any red flags? #bloomberg#interview
Not sure about the infrastructure team but if it’s the same org that I am thinking of, the work/stack differs a lot between teams. Like one team you have C++ that would make you want to cry (what are test cases lol??) and the other you have a team that uses Go to build the deployment infra.
I would say pretty good WLB. The TC ceiling for most engineers seem to be lower than FAANG. I left Bloomberg for $$$ though I might go back there to retire and coast.
In general as an IC there’s no leveling. Just new grads/noobs and senior. Anything else is management track.
