I was asked two coding problem 1) I could complete considering all edge cases 2) I gave the idea how I would solve. just reached a point where I could start coding, but time was up. do I still stand a chance for next round?
So did u not write any code? Sorry then it's 0%
I think blind needs an interview support group lol
Be nice
solutions are usually short esp when you've figured out what to do, ask the dude to hold his horses and let you write some lines! shush him if he objects
Uhh you definitely need to code a solution in the allotted time.
I wrote pseudo code with one example but did not start to write proper code
first one complete code with all edge cases covered
Sucks bro they want working code vs ideas/perfect solutions
I'd strongly recommend going on site for the first round if you are in and around Menlo Park. It was a much better experience, and you would have less trouble understanding each other.
It depends. When I interviewed a while ago, I went onsite for the tech screen, I was given one leetcode code 'Hard' question. I got a nope the next day.
Were they both leetcode questions? What level of difficulty?
I had 2 leetcode style questions. 1 easy, 1 medium, but it wasn't on the Facebook list of questions. 30 mins (45 mins total with 15 mins for intro + questions) to do 2 questions is tough.
Thanks. Were the questions in the top interview question list? Did you pass and go in on-site? I guess I should cut the intro really quick.
Better luck next time! You need to absolutely ace the phone interview
