VC Scout - worth it?

I'm a recent grad Product Manager based in the Charlotte, NC area -- I have a couple interviews next week for VC scout programs. I'm interested in startups, investing, tech, and would like to get into VC full time eventually. However, I understand this is a hard path and somewhat unlikely. So, I'm wondering if there are career benefits to VC scouting other than a way into a full-time VC role. Would I be more attractive to FAANG companies, unicorns, etc. What other avenues would this help open up?

Think of scout programs as a platform that can leap frog you into the future depending on how much you put into it to source and connect with people. The last part of your post is subjective on the position and who you would be describing this information to. VC is a people business, by being a scout you’ll have the brand and platform to meet people and most likely again in different contexts
