Interviewing with one of seed state startup in SF Bay Area. It seems there is not much room for negotiations. Based on my discussion with them, it seems the Base could be 170k with 0.6% RSA equity. How do I evaluate this TC as the equity might get diluted over time. This is first time I am considering a startup, so please any advice is helpful. The startup is building MVP in robotics field and founders are x-googlers. The team seems pretty solid and they all are passionate about the product. The position is onsite requiring to be 3-4 days in office. Any thoughts? Current TC: 0 YoE: 10+ #startup #equity #tech
Can I DM you for the name? I’m interested in pivoting from $NOW to a startup in the near future.
that’s excellent offer. RSA for a non founder is unheard of. 170k at seed is top of scale. do it. well … non disclosure of funding = hard pass. so i dunno
> might get diluted MUST get diluted. the only way you can increase valuation is through dilution. you have a lot to learn. there are tons of websites do some research
How much have they raised. I've been in similar shoes multiple times now :)
They didn't disclose the amount but founder told me that they have enough runway for next 18 months. The investor is private party and it seems very much invested in the product.
